Dirt Weekend+ 2012: 24Hour Race

Our first 24H race. Our first trail night ride.
Ultimate bike fest, keep it up Nuvali!

Thank you God!

A few hours before the race. Preppin' up our camp, strollin' around, met some friends/colleagues, witnessed the gun-start of the Enduro race, visited some bike shops/stalls (most of them are on SALE too), had our lunch, tuned the bikes, 24h race orientation, and got the timing chip. We're ready and there's no turning back.

The 24 Hour Race begins at around 3:15PM. The race starts with a ~400 meter run to get your bike, then ride all the way for 24 hours as much as you can. One lap is 3.3 kilometers long with gradual uphills and several tight turns. Skies are clear, no rain. This is it. This is our 24 hour experience.

Night time! Lights on! The fun gets even better as the sun sets and the trails are getting a bit moist.
Party time for the support groups, videoke sessions, beer party, etc.; struggle time for the 24h'ers hehe! The ride and the sweat must go on...

Sunny Sunday! A few hours to go. Wasted!
The energy levels of most riders are noticeably going down, especially us, but some are not LOL!

Team Potato Corner / 100Plus / Timmy Santos hitting the trails 24/7, even under the scorching sun. Unstoppable. These are the PROs.

Earned.
We might be weak, but the experience was so worth it.
It's the fun that matters anyway :)
