Kapagod.
Tenkyu Lord! :)
Next Ride: wala muna pramis!
Walang injury. Walang nasiraan. Solid yung mga pagkain sa karinderya.
Napaka-swerte pa din talaga. Maraming salamat po Panginoon :)
"hindi na ako makakain..." "kayang kaya niyo yan, maliwanag ang buwan!"
It's raining probably due to a low pressure area while aboard in a Sun Cruises Ferry from Manila Bay; it takes 1 hour to get there. Tourists can stay in the hotel or can have a quick day-tour all over the island. Neither of these is done as we have the bikes with us to roam around freely wherever, whenever. So the tourist guide hands over a paper place mat thingy (these could be the place mats used in their hotel) to each of us, it's the map of the Corregidor Island so we would know where to go. Good thing there's a small store near the shore and hotel so we can buy foods and liquids as our small bike bags are only filled with the dry and clean clothes to get home, money, tent, mobile phone, and camera. We take our usual coffee and brunch before we start the ride.
Unexpectedly, there are some uphills here too. The island is about 6.5 kilometres (4.0 mi) long, and it is about 2.0 miles (3.2 km) wide at its widest point with a total land area of about 900 hectares.
Quite exhausted after 7-8 hours of pedaling. The ride is over as darkness falls. Chillaxin' at the shore with the island guard. We pitch the tent to spend the night here with lots of mosquitoes and the sound of the crashing waves.
Time to get some rest with minimal clothes as it's still wet. Lights off at this cold midnight.
...........
Rise and shine even if there's no sun. It's our second day in this island, and still raining quite hard. No ghosts encountered so far while sleeping. We will now head back to Manila at 9AM after this humble breakfast. Another bike ride on our way home.

This adventure will surely be impossible without the help of Riah Almodovar. Thank you!
